Orsay Museum
The Museé d'Orsay (Orsay Museum) is home to the world's largest collection of impressionist paintings by Monet, Renoir, Gauguin, Van Gogh, and others. We’ll start our tour with an overview of the masterworks by Edouard Manet, Edgar Degas, and Gustav Courbet, whose works help us better understand both the Impressionist and the Post-Impressionist masterpieces found on the upper floors.
The actual museum is housed in a work of art of its own, a former train station built in 1900.
